Know your site is down before your customers do.
We watch our platform. This watches your website, from outside it, and tells you the moment something stops working.
Uptime, performance, certificates and content, all in one place.

We watch the platform. This watches your site.
Our own monitoring tells us if a server has a problem, and we act on that without you needing to ask. What it cannot tell you is that your checkout has started throwing errors, a plugin update broke a page, or your certificate expires on Friday. Those are your website’s problems, not the platform’s, and they need watching from outside.
Checked from outside
Your site is tested from up to 26 locations worldwide, including two in London, so you see it the way your visitors do rather than from inside our network.
Catches slow, not just down
A site that takes eight seconds to load is losing you customers without ever registering as an outage. Performance monitoring shows you that before they leave.
Tells you first
Instant alerts mean you hear about a problem from your monitoring rather than from a customer, which is usually the difference between a quick fix and a bad day.
Site monitoring
What gets checked.
Monitoring runs continuously and alerts you when a check fails, rather than leaving you to look.
Downtime monitoring
Instant alerts when your website goes offline, so you can respond before customers are affected.
Performance monitoring
Tracks time to first byte, DNS time, connection time and total duration, so a gradual slowdown shows up as a trend rather than a surprise.
Geographic monitoring
Checks availability and performance from up to 26 locations, revealing problems that only affect visitors in one part of the world.
Keyword monitoring
Watches your pages for specific words, such as an error message or "out of stock", and alerts you when they appear or disappear.
Port monitoring
Checks HTTP and HTTPS for web traffic, TCP for network or firewall problems, and ICMP ping for basic availability.
SSL expiry monitoring
Warns you before a TLS certificate expires, so visitors never meet a browser security warning on your site.
Site quality
Problems that are not outages.
A full site check looks past whether the page loaded, at the things that quietly cost you rankings and conversions.
Broken links
Finds broken links before they affect your search rankings or send a customer to a dead end.
Missing assets
Alerts you to missing files and JavaScript errors that slow pages down or break how they look.
Heavy assets
Identifies oversized files and libraries that hurt your bounce rate, engagement and conversions.
Google Fonts compliance
Scans for Google Fonts loaded from Google’s servers, which transmits visitor IP addresses and has been found to breach data protection law in some jurisdictions.

FAQ
Monitoring questions
Do you not already monitor my site?
We monitor the platform your site runs on and act on problems there without you asking. That is not the same as monitoring your website. A broken checkout, a plugin update that took a page down, or an expiring certificate are all site-level problems that a healthy server will happily keep serving.
How quickly will I know about an outage?
Checks run continuously from multiple locations and alerts are sent as soon as a check fails, so you generally know before a customer would think to tell you.
Where is my site checked from?
From up to 26 locations worldwide, including two in London. Checking from several places at once distinguishes a genuine outage from a regional network problem.
What is keyword monitoring for?
It watches for specific text on a page. A site can return a perfectly healthy response code while displaying an error message or showing every product as out of stock, and only checking the content catches that.
Can it monitor a server as well as a website?
Yes. Alongside website checks, the service monitors server health, which is useful if you run an unmanaged VPS and are responsible for the machine as well as the site.
Which plan do I need?
First decide whether you are watching websites or servers, because those are separate ranges. Within the website range the plans cover one, three and ten sites. You can move up at any time from your account.
