What kind of Lovable project do you have?
Lovable is great at turning a prompt into a working site. What it isn’t built to do is host it long-term on your own domain, back it up, or answer the phone if something breaks. That’s what proper hosting is for.
It matters which kind of Lovable project you’ve built.
Older Lovable projects (built before May 2026) are React and Vite apps. Once exported and built, they’re a folder of static files that any standard web host can serve. Our Web Hosting plans, from £4.99 a month, handle these directly.
Newer Lovable projects use a framework called TanStack Start, which needs a live Node.js server to run rather than just serving static files. These need a managed server rather than one you’d administer yourself, our Node.js Hosting plan is built exactly for this. Getting your Lovable site onto our hosting

Do I need GitHub to move my Lovable site to your hosting?
No, downloading the ZIP works just as well. GitHub sync just makes it easier to redeploy after future changes.
Will my Supabase database still work?
Yes. Lovable’s backend, usually Supabase, stays separate from your hosting either way. We host the front end of your site; Supabase, or wherever your data lives, keeps working exactly as it did before.
What if I built my Lovable project a while ago?
Older Lovable projects are static Vite and React builds and work perfectly on standard Web Hosting. If you’re not sure which kind you have, send us the export and we’ll confirm.
What about my Supabase keys and other environment variables?
Supabase’s public anon key, the one Lovable uses client-side, is designed to be exposed and needs no special handling. If a newer TanStack Start project also uses server-side secrets, our Node.js Hosting control panel has a built-in .env editor to move those over securely.
How do I update my site after it’s live?
For a static export, rebuild in Lovable, then re-upload the new files through the control panel’s File Manager or SFTP. For a Node.js Hosting project, push to your connected Git repository and redeploy through the built-in Git manager.
Do I need to disconnect my domain from Lovable first?
If you’d already connected a custom domain inside Lovable, remove or reconfigure it there first, otherwise the two can conflict. Not sure how? Send us a message and we’ll walk you through it.
